WHAT ARE SELF DEVELOPMENT HOURS?
20 Observation Hours – By observing different teaching styles, cueing techniques, and class structures, participants gain valuable insights into how to effectively lead a class, correct form, and create an engaging experience for clients.
20 Participation Hours – Experiencing Pilates as a student is key to understanding movement from a client’s perspective. These hours allow participants to refine their own technique, feel the exercises in their body, and develop a deeper connection with the repertoire they will be teaching.
10 Practice Teaching Hours – These hours provide an opportunity to apply everything learned in the course, refine cueing skills, adapt exercises for different clients, and receive constructive feedback. The more you practice, the more natural and effective your teaching will become.
These self-development hours ensure that when participants complete their certification, they are not only knowledgeable but also ready to lead with confidence in a real-world setting.
